First fish
Today, so far, the river has risen from minus 5 to 2ft 3. Finlay had a walk down to the Morail after lunch and managed to land Braelangwell’s first salmon of the season. It weighed about 7lb and took a 2″ brass Tadpole.
We have not heard much from the rest of the river this week but Gruinards caught their third of the season from Kennel run with just minus 3 on the gauge.
